I’ve been hired mostly as an editor since I graduated from FSU 2017. That said, I think editing makes you a better director, a better writer and a better DP. Editing gives you a vantage point from the finished product. It might sound corny, but I believe you can find a story in any kind of video— and yes, I include corporate work in that. Below you can find my Editing Reel, and links to videos I’ve edited over the years. My reel combines my narrative editing work, alongside my corporate projects and advertisements. RockPunch is a YouTube channel that I did a large amount of the editing for (I linked you to one of my favorites). The final video is apart of a series I use as a teaching tool for my film classes as a college professor. None of them are too long, so, if you have a few minutes, give them a watch!
